How To #2: Getting to Tomorrowland

There are a few options for getting to the town of Boom, where the festival happens.

1) Global Journey! You can get really fancy and hop on a Global Journey flight (way outside my price range) or do something more simple like taking the Global Journey train or bus. I have done both and loved the bus option from Eindhoven. I ended up flying into Amsterdam (cheapest option coming from the states) and then taking a train to Eindhoven, exploring it for a day, staying in an Airbnb, and then catching the Shuttle bus the next day to Boom. I loved the excited atmosphere on the bus, hearing everyone chatting in their various languages, and the surprise catered lunch at a vineyard close to Boom was such a great bonus!

2) take a bus or train from Antwerp!

3) Rent a car and Park it in the designated “P Camping” area if you’re staying in Dreamville. Word to the wise, driving in Belgium was ZERO fun and a speeding ticket ended up costing me about $200 for going 2km over the speed limit. We also took our rental car (a Range Rover) To Brugge which was the dumbest idea. Tiny cobblestone one way streets, huge Range Rover, parking meters that max out every 3 hours…zero fun.

I’m not sponsored by Affirm, but highly recommend them should you need to do a payment plan for your travel costs. AFFIRM.com allows you to buy tickets on Orbitz.com or Travelocity.com and pay them off on a plan. Since the initial tickets to the festival have to be paid for upfront, it may be helpful to pay for your travel in payments.
